Survey Results from the 2010 Toronto Congress

The results are in from the 2010 IAHR Toronto Congress survey, and we are encouraged by both the number of participants who took the survey (247) and by the overwhelmingly positive responses we received.

Attendees were, for the most part, from America, Asia, and Europe, though there were representatives from Africa and Australia as well. Satisfaction ratings were very high in areas such as logistics, registration, housing, and programs; with overall satisfaction regarding this year’s venue given as 51.2% “Very Satisfied,” and 41% “Satisfied,” with only .5% giving a response of “Very Dissatisfied.” Overall satisfaction with the Congress stands at 39.2% “Very Satisfied,” 47.9% “Satisfied,” 11.5% “Dissatisfied,” and 1.4% “Very Dissatisfied.” The plenary lectures elicited quite a range of responses.

A full summary of the results can be found HERE.  We are extremely grateful for all the constructive comments that will help us improve the organization of future IAHR Congresses!
